Are the topics varied enough to be thought provoking, and even inspirational? Whether you get your information from Twitter, trade magazines, newspapers or blogs, we often overlook the steps in deriving value from it. So, what are those steps?

  • Step 1: Consume – this is where we stop all too often.
  • Step 2: Digest/reflect/incubate – it doesn’t always jump off the page at you.
  • Step 3: Engage – create a dialogue to explore the content with others; this is where the most value is generated.
  • Step 4: Implement – this step may not always be desired or required.
